A Lifetime of Service

Today, I proudly announce my candidacy for the 106th Assembly District of New York. I’m Gregory Campus of Hyde Park. As a 36-year resident of Dutchess County with 37 years of experience in law enforcement, I bring practical, common-sense leadership rooted in real-world experience.

My campaign is focused on fiscal responsibility, public safety, energy costs, climate policy, infrastructure, and transportation—all while protecting individual liberties. I believe in safeguarding our freedoms, strengthening our economy, and ensuring every tax dollar is spent wisely.

Experience & Public Service

My legislative agenda reflects the values of our community—supporting economic growth, safe neighborhoods, environmental protection, and access to clean water, guided by principles of limited government and strong local support.

I have proudly served as a Town Councilman for Hyde Park’s Third Ward, where I worked on and supported key initiatives including:
  • The 2026 Town Budget
  • Chamber of Commerce collaboration
  • Traffic safety improvements on Dorsey Lane
  • Noise and zoning concerns
  • The Bellfield Estate and Six Cents Project
  • Expansion of water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Stormwater and environmental compliance (DEC/EPA regulations)
  • Flood mitigation efforts
  • Police Department modernization (electric vehicles and charging)
  • Community programs such as curbside clothing collection
I currently serve on the Town’s Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA), continuing my commitment to responsible community development.

Priorities for the Hudson Valley

I am committed to:
  • Ensuring strong education funding and safe schools
  • Supporting small businesses and economic development
  • Reducing property taxes and utility costs
  • Investing in infrastructure and transportation
  • Protecting our environment and preserving the Hudson Valley’s natural beauty
I will also advocate for our seniors, veterans, and the protection of First and Second Amendment rights.
